Jesus is getting ready to enter Jerusalem for the last time. He knows what He must do. Two disciples went ahead to get a donkey and its colt. They knew what to say if anyone asked why they were taking the animals. Jesus prepared them well for their task. They did what He had asked. How about you? Do you follow what Jesus tasks you to do? Things like…Love your neighbors…Speak the truth in love…Pray…Draw close to God’s word. These are simple tasks. We need to focus on them and to do what Jesus asks of us each day! It will be a great day in Him!
Remember to give this verse to all of your family, friends, and co-workers in the Lord by copying the blog or by sending them the link to it. Ask if they feel that they know what God asks them to do. Ask how faithful they are doing what He asks. We ALL need to do a better job at following the simple instructions from Jesus. We can start with spending more time studying the Bible. We offer prayers for all of the police, fire fighters, and emergency personnel throughout the country. Each day we hear of the sacrifices that they make to protect and to serve us. We hear of their brave actions. We see the lives saved by their efforts. Please share your appreciation when you see them. Give them your THANKS! Support their families as well as they also may be sacrificing something for their spouses or parents. Stay blessed. Pass it on by doing what Jesus had instructed…love others deeply!
