Do you cry out to Jesus?

20:32 Matthew “Jesus stopped and called them. "What do you want me to do for you?" he asked.” (NIV)

Two blind men hear that Jesus is passing by and they call out to Him. They ask for mercy. Jesus knows their needs but still asks what they really want. They ask for their sight. Jesus shows His compassion and restores their sight. And why is this story important? First, those in great need cried out to Jesus for help. Second, Jesus hears their pleas. Third, Jesus wants to hear us say what we need most. And, fourth, Jesus responds with the answer to our need. That story speaks of faith and Christ’s response to faith. Continue to seek His will in your life as you walk with Him!

Please send along this verse to close family and friends by copying this blog or by sending them the link. Ask if they know of people being healed in a miraculous way. Ask how they felt about it and if it strengthened their faith. We do not always know when or why Jesus heals those that He does. That is where our faith must continue to trust in Him. We know that we are His… forever! Please Take Time For God’s Word at 20:32 (8:32 pm) and if you see a blind person, then recall this verse. If you keep a prayer journal, write in it this verse. Underline the phrase, “What do you want me to do for you?” It is a great reminder that we need to bring our specific requests to Jesus in prayer. Keep on praying and trusting for an answer and for the grace to accept His answer and still walk with Him. Remember that when we are weak, then He is strong to carry us through.

Our prayers again focus on all of the brave women and men who are serving (or who have served) in our military. There are all types of service. Some are more physical than others. Some are more dangerous than others. Some have served longer than others. Yet, ALL have made the commitment to even lay down their lives for our protection and safety. So, support them and their families in anyway that you can. Be generous in that support. Tell them ‘thank you’ for that service. Stay blessed always. Pass it on by sharing love and joy each day because of His love for you!
