You are called to forgive…do so from the heart!

18:35 Matthew “This is how my heavenly Father will treat each of you unless you forgive your brother or sister from your heart.” (NIV)

Jesus compares the story of a man with a HUGE debt that was forgiven and cancelled by the king. Then that man seeks to collect a small debt from another person… and that man does NOT forgive the small debt. The king hears of it and is furious… the man learned nothing of forgiveness so he now needs to repay his HUGE debt. It shows that God is serious about forgiveness and that we must show forgiveness to others. It takes practice. It can be hard to do. Yet, it is one of the greatest gifts you can give. Do what Jesus did for you… freely forgive!

Please make this verse known to your close friends and family by copying the blog or the link to this post page then send it in an email. Ask if someone ever forgave them of a large debt or major failure. Ask how that has impacted their life and if they have done the same for anyone else. We need to recount times of forgiveness. We need to celebrate those. We need to show gratitude for those. We need to Thank God for ALL of His forgiveness to us. Continue to Take Time For God’s Word at 18:35 (6:35 pm) and as you forgive anyone, then remember this verse. You may want to add this as a photo in an album of Verses on your phone. We all need to be reminded of this lesson…often. Scroll through the verses on your phone. It will be a blessing. It will be an encouragement. It may even be a wake-up to those which you are not yet practicing each day. Keep growing in faith!

Pray for all of your family and friends. Name them. Pray specifics that you want for each of them. Pray for forgiveness if that is needed. We often take family and friends for granted. We shouldn’t. They are VERY important to us. Tell them so. Share your love with them. You can never say it too often. If there are those who need a call or text, take the time NOW to do that. Don’t put it off. They need to hear from you. Be that blessing to them. Pass it on by sharing His love for them and your love because of who they are in your life. Cherish them!
