Reach out to Jesus every day!

14:36 Matthew “They begged him to let the sick touch at least the fringe of his robe, and all who touched him were healed.” (NLT)

Jesus encountered sick people wherever He went. He took the time to heal them. Some just wanted to touch His robe so that they could also be healed. He healed them as well because they believed in Him and in His divine power to heal. Do we reach out to Him like that today? We need that healing… physically, mentally, spiritually. We need to know His divine power by knowing His Word and by trusting in His will for our lives. He is the same, yesterday, today and forever!

Pass on this verse to family, friends, and neighbors by copying this blog or by sharing the link to this page with them. Ask if they have ever prayed for healing. Ask if it was for themselves or for someone else. Share with them your own experiences. At times, He does not provide immediate healing. Still trust in His plans and His timing. Then, Take Time For God’s Word at 14:36 (2:36 pm) and as you see those who may be sick, then remember this verse. Sickness can be tough to deal with, especially when it affects someone that you love. That is why we need verses like this to recall and to strengthen our faith. Keep this one handy. You will come to need it someday. It will help you then as it may be helping you even now. Stay close to His Word. Store it in your heart and mind.

Our monthly prayer cycle focuses on our pastors, ministers, and lay leaders in our churches and fellowship groups. They have some great responsibilities for all those who are part of their congregations. They often see the burdens and pains of so many people that we need to rally behind them with encouragement and support. May you be one of those whom they can count on to be there for them in prayer. What a blessing you will be to them. Keep it up! Stay blessed always. Pass it on to all those in church leadership roles and thank them for their great service!
