Give comfort to those who mourn…

5:04 Matthew “Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.” (NIV)

When Jesus looked into the eyes and hearts of the people in the crowds, he saw their needs. He saw their pains. He saw their hearts. That is why He spoke words of hope, comfort, compassion, gentleness, and more. He is still speaking to all of us who need to hear these words again and again. Be especially compassionate to those who mourn. Be there for them. Just be there in that moment to let them know they are not alone… Jesus is there with them. Reassure them of that!

Copy this blog or the link to continue to pass on these verses to all your friends (and to their friends) on social media. Ask how they felt at the loss of a loved one. Ask what gave them the most comfort and hope. Let them know the hope and great joy we have in knowing Jesus. While we will still mourn for those whom we have lost, we can rejoice in that great homecoming day in heaven. Share that hope with them. Be sure to Take Time For God’s Word at 5:04 am or pm and as you comfort those who mourn, then share this verse with them. Add this verse to your phone. Let the Reminder ring each day as you see another verse added. Repeat them. You will be blessed each time. Focus on the words. Give thanks to God for His great love and grace to you. Keep an ‘attitude-of-gratitude’ in all that you do.

As we approach holy week and Easter, please remember to pray for all of the soup kitchens and food banks in your community and around the country. If EVERYONE in our churches brought just one food item to donate as part of their offering each week, we could solve much of our hunger problem here in the USA. If EVERYONE in our churches gave just one hour of time each week in a soup kitchen or sorting food at a food bank, we would see untold blessings to those people. Be the ONE in EVERY-ONE. Do your part. Be a blessing. Live a blessed life… forever! Pass it on through those you touch by such acts of love and kindness.
