Words that drive away Satan…

4:10 Matthew “Jesus said to him, "Away from me, Satan! For it is written: 'Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only.'" (NIV)

In the third temptation of Jesus by Satan, we see Satan wanting Jesus to worship him. Jesus replies with our verse which sends Satan and all of his demons away. Remember this verse! More importantly, we all need to remember who we are and whose we are. We have been purchased through the blood of Christ. We are redeemed. We are chosen. We are the people of God. Keep your worship on the one true God. Serve the Lord with gladness. Share His love with everyone you meet. Praise the Lord!!

Save this verse and share the link to this blog to deliver this to family, friends, and neighbors. Ask what they value the most in this world. Ask why that is so important to them. Listen carefully to their responses. Share with the them the words of Jesus and our need to focus on God for our salvation. It is our most important relationship and one that will last forever. Then Take Time For God’s Word at 4:10 am or pm and as you feel tempted, then remember this verse and worship our God. Set this as an alarm on your phone. Title it “Away Satan”. It will get your attention. It needs to get your attention to keep you alert to the temptations of Satan. Don’t fall for them. Stay close to God through His Word. If you spend time doing good, there is no time left to do what is evil. God is with you every day!

Our prayer focus today is for all of the teachers and aides who train up our children. What a privilege. What a calling. What a responsibility. Shaping young minds and lives through lessons of learning and examples for living. Support those teachers. Encourage them to be loving and caring with their students. Volunteer where you can. Help them as you are able. If that had been your profession, THANK YOU for your great service! Be blessed to be a blessing to others! Pass it on through your living witness to what God can do through you!
