Follow the star to find Jesus...in His Word

2:10 Matthew “When they saw the star, they were overjoyed.” (NIV)

Our new series starts in Matthew. Some verses will be familiar. We want to make them unforgettable. We want them to be a part of you. We want you to carry them with you wherever you go. We want you to seek Jesus just as the Wisemen did. They followed a star. We have the benefit of following His Word. From the light of the star they found Jesus. From His Word, we can also find Jesus. Keep His Word close at hand…top of mind…deep in your heart!

Please pass along this verse to your family, friends, and co-workers who are sharing the Good News. Ask if they ever went to a concert or stage play to see a star performer. Ask what was their reaction to being there…being close to that star. Let them know that even the stars in the sky shine their light to show Jesus. Finding Him…Knowing Him…Serving Him holds the greatest joys that we will ever know. Pray that they will know Him, too! Remember to Take Time For God’s Word at 2:10 am or pm and as you see the stars in the sky, then remember this verse. It is a new series. You may have reminders for many of these times/ verse numbers already. You can add more. Be creative in how you link these to time. Print them. Save them to Favorites. Do whatever seems to work best for you as you are learning more and more verses which help you in life. Carry His Word deep in your hearts.

We pray for all of those who are in hospice care and for those who are caring for them. Time is short for these people. They know that. But it can feel very long and very lonely if no one comes to see them. Help them through these last days of life. Remember with them the fun times. Remember with them the good times. Remember with them the love of Christ for them. Be there with them until they are called home…home with Jesus forever. Stay blessed through it all. Pass it on in ways that bring joy and healing to those in need.
