Why is it that the opening words, “Promise not to tell” are followed by things that you REALLY want to tell others (and sometimes you still do tell). Jesus asked us (his followers) to tell others about the Good News… yet, we are slow at sharing with others. There is still time… start now. Share His love through words and deeds. There was a story about a college student who didn’t want to become a Christian because then he would HAVE TO witness to others. A friend said he didn’t HAVE TO… so he accepted Christ and then went around telling everyone about Jesus! It is that exciting!!
PLEASE give this verse to close friends and family wherever they are. Ask what God has done for them in their lives. Ask if they have ever told others about that great event. Remind them that we are blessed to be a blessing. Help to introduce others to Jesus. It will be life-changing for so many people. Next, Take Time For God’s Word© each day when you hear His name or read about Jesus, you can then recall this verse as “96:03” and think of who you can tell about our amazing God. You can set a Reminder on your phone for 6:03 pm with the title, “96:03 Psalm…Tell everyone”. When you see it, you will know about His amazing deeds and you will then want to tell others. All we need is the reminder… and we can even use technology to help (see, it is good for something!). `
Continue to remember all of those people who are involved with our prison systems around the country. Pray for all of the guards, prisoners, staff, families of inmates, families of victims, and those who minister to these people. Jesus calls out prisoners as people who we should minister to. No one is beyond reach. Just like the thief on the cross, salvation can be found in no one other than in Jesus. Be a blessing. Encourage those who need that. Show forgiveness. Stay blessed for all that you do. Pass it on by letting everyone know about our amazing God!
