“Guilty as charged.” Words that we never expect to hear. Words we never want to hear in our conscious minds. Yet, we ALL carry around with us a sense of guilt. Guilt because of bad things we have done… OR guilt because of good things which we failed to do when we had the chance. You CANNOT carry the weight of guilt around with you and still find peace in your life. Turn over the guilt, shame, sin, and regrets to Jesus. He died to take ALL of that from you so that you can live a life that is abundant and free. Do that now!

Ask if they still carry around any guilt from their childhood or early adult life. Ask how that makes them feel. Let them know that Jesus died for them and for ALL of their sins and failures. It is a free gift. Tell them how they can come to know Jesus. Please Take Time For God’s Word© whenever you feel a sense of guilt in your life, then think of this verse as ’38:04’, and turn that guilt over to the loving care of Jesus. This may be a good Reminder on your phone for 8:04 am to start your day. Set it with the title “38:04 My guilt overwhelms me… YET, Christ has set me free”. It is good to recall the verse… it is great to know that we are free from guilt and sin. We have received both mercy (pardon from what we deserve) and grace (undeserved favor) through Jesus. That is still the Good News that people long to hear. Share it with them.
We pray for all of the youth outreach ministries within our churches and fellowship groups. Some help our youth to go and pack food to be sent to foreign missions. Some help our youth to provide Bible school ministries in summer programs. Some take mission trips to areas of devastation to help rebuild. Whatever the mission, these programs get our youth involved. It shows them that our faith is NOT just for Sunday. It is for everyday… in every way… and everywhere. Love is an action word for us. Sharing the love of Christ comes from the heart through our hands and through our words. Support these activities. Encourage our youth. Help them to see your love in action as well. Stay blessed in ALL ways. Pass it on as you are free from guilt and as you help others to lay their guilt at the feet of Jesus!
